REIC Executive Director & CEO Maura McLaren Receives Highest Professional Honour from CSAE

The Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) is proud to announce that the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) awarded Maura McLaren, CAE the Honorary Award of Excellence.

The awards ceremony took place at the CSAE National Conference on October 25 in St. John’s, NFLD. This award recognizes sustained commitment and an outstanding contribution to CSAE on a national basis and at the local level.

Maura has been an active leader in association management for 40 years, including working in the charity, trade and professional sectors. Volunteering with CSAE for more than three decades, she has contributed to numerous committees and task forces at both the national and chapter levels. In 1998, Maura served as the Trillium Chapter President. More recently, she served as the 2014/2015 Chair of the CSAE National Board of Directors. Nominators describe Maura as “an inspiring and natural leader, a trusted mentor, and a passionate team builder”.

“I am very grateful for this incredible honour,” expressed Maura, “the decision to join CSAE turned my job into a career by providing me with the knowledge and skills required to advance, and it is one of the best decisions of my professional life.”
