After 15 years in the field of new home construction and management, I chose to delve into the world of Real Estate. I became a licensed real estate professional in 2003 and started working for the Royal Lepage office in my home town of Sherwood Park, Alberta. After one year in the business I was approached to work at Jayman Realty (Edm) Inc. where I continue my real estate profession. I wanted to be the best I could be in my field so I pursued further education. My desire to give my clients the very best in service, information, and integrity led me to obtain my Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRES) and Fellow of the Real Estate Institute (FRI) designations. I am very proud of these designations and constantly promote them through my advertising, for me the FRI designation is the ultimate in the real estate world. Two years ago I chose to volunteer on the local REIC chapter, very quickly I began working on the Programs committee. Finding it somewhat of a challenge, looking for new venues, informative speakers, and innovative events to help our chapter members not only grow but to feel they made the right choice belonging to the REIC organization. In 2008 I became Vice President of the Edmonton chapter and I've now moved up to be President for the next two years. I am very excited to explore this position and dedicate myself to work hard in this new challenge. I look forward to networking, learning, educating and having fun.

Roseanne Evans CPM®, ARM®, was elected as president of the IREM Edmonton chapter #54 on May 19th, 2010. Roseanne has been a licensed Real Estate Associate, in the province of Alberta since 2003. Roseanne became committed to her career in Property Management in September 2000, with Maclab Enterprises. Since then she has managed a variety of Residential Properties, in2008 changing her path to managing Condominiums at Ayre and Oxford Inc. A vision of lifelong learning is what led Roseanne to her volunteer involvement with the Institute of Real Estate Management as Education Coordinator in 2005 and Vice President in 2008. Roseanne promotes education and designations to her colleagues and employer; maintaining a strong belief in continuing education. In addition to her IREM commitment, Roseanne has been appointed to represent IREM on the Property Managers Advisory Committee to RECA since 2008. this committee acts as a liaison between Licensed Industry Members and the Real Estate Council of Alberta. Roseanne, in setting strong personal goals, won the Bentall Excellence Award at the National level in 2007.
