2011 REIC Toronto Chapter Awards were handed out at the REIC Toronto Chapter Annual Awards Dinner held at the Toronto Board of Trade's downtown location.
- Creative Writing Award was presented to Andrew L.B. Gordon, FRI (Emt) CPM® (Emt) (Andrew's award was picked up for him by Tina Skinner CPM®)
- Community Services Award was presented to Philip Galin CPM® CMOC
- Corporate Citizen of the Year Award was presented to First Condo Group
- Association of the Year Award was presented to the Toronto Real Estate Board
- Member of the Year Award was presented to Ronald Fraser CPM®

Another Step
In Phoenix, after 72 hours of classroom drilling, 6 hours of exam and 3 hours of tensed waiting of the final result, Walter finally passed the comprehensive exam and received his CCIM pin from John Iannuzzi, CCIM Central Canada Chapter President.
Walter's next goal is to get the CPM designation.

The REPAM (Real Estate Property/Asset Management) Council and IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) are encouraging its Canadian members to provide data on the properties they manage for the 2010 Income /Expense Analysis Report.
Submit information now to help provide Canada with accuarte Information.
Please remember that the dealine to submit information is April 1, 2010 and you do not have to be a member of IREM to be eligable to participate.

REIC is Now Accepting Nominations for the 2010 REIC Pursuit of Excellence Awards
The Real Estate Institute of Canada is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Pursuit of Excellence Awards. You can nominate your fellow members, real estate associations and chapters in over a dozen different categories. The REIC Board of Directors and the Awards Task Force encourages REIC Members to submit numerous submissions.
Please download the 2009 Pursuit of Excellence Awards Brochure and make certain that you look at the new and updated awards being offered this year. Entry forms are also available for download.
This year’s award winners will be announced at the annual REIC Awards Dinner & Dance to be held on Saturday May 30, 2009 as part of the 2009 REIC Annual Conference in Halifax Nova Scotia.
REIC Members are asked to be aware of submission deadlines when preparing their nominations.
The deadline for awards is Friday April 16, 2010 @ 4:00PM EST. Chapter of Year Award submissions will be accepted until Friday May 21, 2010 @ 4:00PM EST.
