MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Announcing
Upcoming National Member Survey
REIC is working hard to ensure that it delivers to its members the
kind of service and commitment that exemplifies the best in
professional associations. As we begin to look at what the REIC vision
for the future involves, we are happy to announce that we will be
performing a national member’s survey later this month. Do you have
ideas you would like to share with the national office, services you’d
like to have us perform, member benefits you would like to enjoy, or
knowledge and information that we could provide you with that will
help you in your business or career? Or do you know of activities,
events or campaigns you believe REIC should be involved with? How can
we help build recognition for your designations and professional
standing? Can REIC enable your career advancement, success rates or
help you reach more potential clients and customers in your region?
The
member survey is being developed with these sorts of questions in mind
and will uncover the ways in which REIC can become an essential part
of your success. The information we receive will be compiled and
presented to you in a quick and easy to understand format. You will
gain a better understanding of the association that you are a part of,
your peers, the organization’s activities, its outlook and the
services it can provide.
Most associations perform member surveys to build an accurate
understanding of their membership profiles, needs and interests. REIC is
one of the longest running associations of real estate professionals
in
Canada.
A major component of this success can be attributed to the
relationships it maintains with major organizations in Canadian real
estate, both in the public and private sectors. Our member survey
results will be able to depict to those organizations across
Canada
who we are, our commitment to ethics and professional standards that
are becoming increasingly necessary in the real estate industry, our
values, education curriculum and programs. In order to continue
fostering and building a solid foundation and reputation in
Canada
that speaks for real estate professionals, education and advancement,
we have learned that having an accurate view of our membership and its
interests will increase our appeal throughout the industry. Please
stay on the lookout in your email inbox for the survey and let us know
what you want to see in your association as we move forward. We are
excited to learn what the results will say and will keep you abreast
of the information and knowledge we gain as it becomes available.
For
more information, please contact the national office at 1-800-542-REIC
or 416-695-9000.
