About the Online Course

REIC has partnered with the University of Fredericton (UFRED) to offer the REIC 2600: Ethics in Business Practice course online.

The course is designed to help develop and refine the real estate practitioner's decision-making skills from an ethical standpoint. Participants will study various real estate ethical codes and will acquire the tools and strategies to maintain strict ethical standards in a business setting.

- Online discussions, assignments, self-reflection activities, videos and live classes will engage students in an interactive form.

- This course lasts nine weeks and includes three live online sessions. Students should allow approximately two hours per week to complete the readings, activities and assignments.

- The live classes will be scheduled for the evening hours (around 7:30 pm ET) and will last approximately two hours.

- The exact dates and start times of the live sessions will be confirmed with registered students.

- Prior to the start of the course, there will be an introductory session to provide an overview of the site and review technology requirements.

Completion of the Course

Marks for the course will be derived from participation in live classes, assignments and a final examination. The final exam will be available for one week after the last date of the course. Credit for successfully completing the course can be used towards an REIC designation program.
