CML201 - Managing Commercial Properties

Kick start your career in commercial property management with this comprehensive online course. Managing Commercial Properties covers all the bases for commercial property management in an interactive, hands-on format. Students will apply knowledge concepts right away by engaging in the decision-making process for a variety of property types, including office buildings, shopping centers, and industrial properties.

This course is offered asynchronous through our partner, IREM. The course takes approximately 12 hours to complete, followed by the online course exam, which must be completed within on year from the date of registration.

This course meets the program requirements for the ACoM® designation.
If you are taking CML201 as part of the ACoM® Designation program, you must have completed REIC2600 BEFORE taking CML201.

• Role and responsibilities of the property manager for each commercial property type.
  
• Understand what owners expect from their property manager and staff and how you can assist in meeting their goals.
  
• Get the skills necessary to support the property manager in all areas of management – including budgeting and accounting, maintenance and inspections, and marketing and leasing.
  
• Learn to lead and manage. Determine what tasks need to be done, and how to prioritize to complete them.
