This exam is the last step to achieving your Certified Reserve Planner (CRP) Designation.
The certification exam is a crucial component of the process, and we are here to provide the necessary information to help you prepare for it. To be eligible to take the CRP Certification Exam, you must have completed CPD 891, CPD 899, REIC2600, and REIC2400 and attended the CRP Technical Competency Workshop (if available).
The certification exam is designed to evaluate your proficiency in executing responsibilities that REIC has identified as essential for a Certified Reserve Planner. It acknowledges your personal and professional experience and the knowledge gained from the program requirements.
The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and covers the following topics: property identification and verification, lifecycle assessment, financial analysis, standards, and ethics. It will be delivered through the REIC Learning Centre, and you will have three (3) hours to complete it with one (1) attempt. The cost of the exam is $275.00 plus applicable taxes.
To obtain certification, you must achieve a minimum grade of 70%. Your exam results will be returned within fourteen (14) days of the exam due date.
